carnovsky & [La Selva: Spanish for jungle]
carnovsky duo, Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla (source)
carnovsky is a Milan based creative force, comprising of Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla. One of carnovsky's works is RGB, all about delving into the "surface's deepness".
Through the overlapping of three intricate and varied layers, each in a single primary colour: red, green or blue, the lines and shapes of the combined image intertwine and are transformed into a haze of secondary colours and noise. Through a coloured filter, each single layer of the composition can in turn be revealed.
Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes, nestled in hip East London's Shoreditch, is a bar, cafe and exhibition space and was home to one of carnovsky's recent works titled La Selva: RGB Black Series.
Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes, it's name born from the 80s bag and shoe wholesalers that once thrived in the same building and used to be the primary industry of Shoreditch.
La Selva is spanish for jungle or carnovsky's interpretation of "really tangled, intricate and dense tropical forest".
Step into what Francesco Rugi refers to as a "real and fantastical world", the jungle as a combination of all it's layers . .

Through a green filter or light, the dense vegetation becomes apparent as a single layer, hiding all that lurks in the jungle >
Through a blue filter or light, a tribe of monkeys jump out and take over in a single layer >
Each colour evoking it's own mood; and along with the images of nature and creatures, La Selva creates a unique sensory experience.

The pendants are born from bottle caps. Two chrome bottle caps have been flattened and secured together to create a double pendant. That means two designs in the one pendant for two unique looks.

[How to play]: Pendants have been listed separately in store incase you would like to thread it on an existing chain. Choose the pendant/s that take your fancy, choose a chain too if you like. All dta's chains have been specifically designed for the dta pendant range - we like our chains long, between 30-31 inches. We have also made sure that the pendant can be slipped off the chain, to enable you to purchase the dta pendants that you fancy and swap them around depending on your look for the day.
